Do I need an appointment?

It's best to schedule an appointment to ensure that the nurse is available and in office, however walk-ins will be added on if the schedule allows.

When should I arrive for my appointment?

Please arrive on time for your appointment as we want to provide ample time for your consultation, pictures, consent forms, treatment, and discharge instructions. No need to arrive early.

What if I’m late for my appointment?

We understand things come up. Please don’t stress, we are flexible. Just give us a heads up and we will do what we can to make it happen.

What is the cancellation policy?

Life happens and we completely understand that. The greater the notice you can provide us the better so we can try schedule someone else in your time slot.

With each and every appointment you will have a one on one consultation with your nurse injector. Get to know each other a bit, take before pictures, discuss what you are hoping to gain from this experience, discuss all the options available to you, go over pros and cons of treatments, as well as risks and adverse reactions. You will have ample opportunity to ask any questions and make sure that you are comfortable before proceeding.

Each person is unique. The frequency of treatments will depend on the type of procedure and your specific goals. Typically for neurotoxin injections such as Botox or Xeomin it will last anywhere from 3-5 months for most areas whereas hyaluronic acid fillers last much longer ranging from about 6-12 months.

We love kids! Your children are welcome to come to the appointment although it may be easier and more relaxing for yourself to leave at home if possible. However, we will make it work if that is not an option. We are a family friendly business.

We’re happy to offer gift cards for purchase. Please speak more with the nurse about this.

We do not currently offer packages or memberships but we will be offering this in the near future.

Why choose a medical aesthetics provider?

Medical aesthetics encompass a wide range of non-surgical cosmetic procedures provided by a qualified and experienced nurse. Medical aesthetics has witnessed a surge in popularity over the years due to a combination of cultural, technological, and psychological factors. Here are some reasons explaining the growing appeal:

  • Technological Advancements: The field has seen significant technological innovations that offer more effective treatments with less downtime and fewer side effects. This makes aesthetic treatments more accessible and appealing.
  • Minimally Invasive Procedures: Many of the new procedures are minimally invasive, which means shorter recovery times and less discomfort compared to traditional surgical procedures.
  • Social Media and Celebrity Influence: The rise of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok, where users share selfies and personal images, has increased the focus on appearance. Furthermore, celebrities often openly discuss and promote aesthetic treatments, normalizing them for a broader audience.
  • Affordability: While still costly, many treatments have become more affordable for the average person. Monthly payment plans and financing options also make treatments more accessible.
  • Cultural Acceptance: The stigma associated with cosmetic procedures has decreased over the years. It's now more socially accepted to undergo aesthetic treatments as a form of self-care or self-expression.
  • Desire for Personalized Treatments: Medical aesthetics offers a wide variety of treatments that can be tailored to the individual's needs, allowing for a more personalized approach to beauty.
  • Increase in Information Availability: With the internet, potential patients can easily research procedures, watch demonstrations, read reviews, and view before-and-after photos. This easy access to information can demystify treatments and make them seem more approachable.
  • Aging Population: As the global population ages, there's a higher demand for treatments that combat signs of aging. People are living longer, healthier lives and want their outer appearance to reflect their inner vitality.
  • Boosting Self-Confidence: Many seek these treatments to boost self-esteem and confidence, which can have positive ripple effects in other areas of life.
  • Globalization and Cultural Cross-Pollination: As the world becomes more connected, beauty standards and trends from one region can quickly influence another, leading to a wider acceptance and desire for certain aesthetic looks or procedures.
  • Preventative Treatments: Younger individuals are increasingly seeking treatments as a preventative measure, hoping to stave off signs of aging before they become more pronounced.
  • Expansion of Treatments for Men: While historically many treatments targeted women, there's been a growing recognition and acceptance of men seeking aesthetic procedures, broadening the market.
  • Wellness and Self-care Trend: The broader societal focus on wellness, self-care, and self-improvement has made many more open to exploring medical aesthetics as part of their self-care routine.

There are many reasons why individuals might choose to undergo these procedures.
Some common reasons include:

  • Anti-aging: One of the primary reasons people opt for aesthetic injections is to counter the signs of aging. These injections can help smooth out wrinkles, fine lines, and deep folds.
  • Volume Restoration: Over time, certain areas of the face can lose volume due to aging or weight loss. Fillers can be used to restore this lost volume, especially in the cheeks, temples, and lips.
  • Lip Augmentation: Some individuals want fuller, plumper lips, and fillers can provide that volume.
  • Contouring and Enhancing Facial Features: Apart from the nose and lips, fillers can be used to enhance the jawline, chin, or cheekbones.
  • Hyperhidrosis Treatment: Some injections, such as Botox, can be used to treat excessive sweating by blocking the nerve signals that stimulate sweat glands.
  • Migraine Relief: While not strictly aesthetic, neurotoxin injections have been used as a treatment for chronic migraines.
  • Jaw Tension and TMJ: Neurotoxin injections can help alleviate the pain and tension of TMJ (temporomandibular joint disorder).
  • Eyebrow Lift: Strategic placement of injections can provide an eyebrow lift and give the appearance of being more alert and energized.
  • Correcting Asymmetry: Sometimes, facial asymmetry can be addressed or minimized using injectables.
  • Skin Quality Improvement: Injectables can improve the quality of the skin by providing hydration and stimulating collagen production.
  • Boosting Self-Esteem and Confidence: For many, these treatments can lead to a boost in self-esteem and confidence, as they may feel more comfortable with their appearance.
  • Maintenance and Prevention: Some individuals start aesthetic injections early as a preventive measure, aiming to delay the onset of certain aging signs.
